After a long day of traveling through four different countries, we arrived in Ireland. On our first night, we checked in to our hotel, grabbed some food and tried to hit the hay early, so that we could get up at 5:00 am the next day for our tour. Little did we know, the hotel we were staying at had a live DJ until 3:00 am, so we totaled about two hours of sleep before getting up and jumping on the tour bus.

Our first excursion lead us to three places. We began at the Rock of Cashel. You can read all about it by clicking the link on the name! Next, we jumped back on the bus to visit the city of Cork. It was Sunday, so not many businesses were open, but it was still a lovely stroll. Finally, we visited the Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone. This was an absolutely magical place.

The weather could not have been more beautiful, it was warmer in Ireland than it was in Washington! We enjoyed a hot lunch and Guinness before heading back to Temple Bar, where our hotel is located.
